Year R - Butterflies Class

Welcome to Butterflies Class.

Our class teacher is Mrs Jagtiani.  

The class assistants are Mrs Whittaker on Mondays and Tuesdays and Mrs Goddard on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Spring Term

We change our home reading books on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and our library books on Fridays.

Cursive Writing

We are practising writing our name using cursive handwriting. We have sent home an example of your child's name in cursive script for you to practise with your child. For more informationabout cursive writing click on the link below.

Tricky Words 

You will find links below to the sets of tricky words we are currently learning. We will be learning 3 or four new words a week and the download gives two cards for each word.  These can be printed off and cut up to play games such as pairs and snap to help your child learn to read them.
